Surgmed Group is looking for a proactive Supply Chain Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting purchasing, inventory management, logistics, and supplier relationships across our group of companies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in supply chain and operations while making a meaningful impact in the healthcare and medical device industry.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Assist in all purchasing activities for Advanced Surgi-Pharm Inc (ASP), Batrik Medical Manufacturing (BMM) and Imperial Surgical Ltd. (ISL) as advised by the Supply Chain Manager. Such as:
  • Raw materials for production.
  • Finished goods – Products/medical devices ready for sale.
  • and any additional mandates as per your superiors.
  • Ensure all suppliers, items, pricing, and purchase orders are loaded completely, correctly and is maintained on an ongoing basis.
  • Place Purchase Orders for all vendors ensuring timely replenishment of stock.
  • Provide forecasts for vendor items upon request to assist in inventory and order planning.
  • Assist the Production Supervisor and employees with any requests related to materials or logistics to support production needs.
  • Process all import carrier and customs brokerage invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Track and maintain purchase order status and weekly reconciliations monitoring expected dates
  • Coordinate RFQ and transport from vendors
  • Follow up with suppliers regarding order confirmations, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Communicate delivery schedules to internal departments.
  • Post receipts, invoices, and credit notes.
  • Communicate Inventory issues promptly to the supply chain manager
  • Participating in staff meetings
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies in import and export broker and carrier invoices, resolving issues promptly.
  • Troubleshoot inventory issues, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain accurate stock levels.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, inventory control, logistics, or supply chain operations preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, and Windows Applications
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV

Additional Information

Please note that the successful candidate will be required to work on-site during their 6-month probation period. Upon successful completion of probation and based on performance and business needs, the employee may transition to a hybrid work arrangement.
