The North American Fulfillment Associate is responsible for supporting the daily warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, and logistics operations of the Surgmed Group. This position provides operational support across affiliated companies, including Advanced Surgi-Pharm Inc. and Batrik Medical Manufacturing Inc.

As a shared services position, employees are expected to work wherever operational priorities are required and may be assigned duties across any of the 2 companies. Daily responsibilities may vary based on customer demand, production schedules, inventory requirements, staffing levels, and business needs.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and finished goods
  • Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare domestic and cross-border shipments (courier, LTL, FTL, export)
  • Generate and verify shipping documents (BOLs, commercial invoices, customs forms, packing slips, labels)
  • Schedule carrier pickups, obtain freight quotes, and ensure on-time shipments
  • Support the Customer Care department by responding to shipping and order-related inquiries.
  • Operate barcode scanners and maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP/WMS system
  • Verify product details, including quantities, lot/serial numbers, expiry dates, and customer requirements
  • Maintain full product traceability and report discrepancies, damage, or quality issues
  • Perform internal stock transfers between company entities
  • Participate in cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation activities
  • Follow FIFO/FEFO inventory rotation practices
  • Support production, packaging, labeling, kitting, and assembly as needed
  • Operate forklift and other material handling equipment (when trained/authorized)
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and organization
  • Follow SOPs, Health & Safety, and quality system requirements
  • Assist in training new employees when required
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum (3) years of experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, or distribution is preferred.
  • Experience in medical devices, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated manufacturing environments is considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of French/English written and spoken
  • Experience in shipping department with UPS, FedEx and other types of software
  • Experience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems is preferred.
  • Capable of lifting boxes up to 25 kg
  • Valid forklift license

Additional Information

Pay: CA$19.00 – CA$19.50 per hour
