Business Development Representative

Supervisor: International Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the International Sales Manager
  • Inbound and Outbound Calling
  • Identifying potential clients & build international lead lists
  • Network and build relationships with new and existing client base
  • New market penetration
  • Outside of the box thinking,
  • Educate and sell company products and services to new and existing customers clients
  • Maintain quarterly targets
  • Close and follow up on sales transactions
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints
  • Administrative responsibilities
  • All other tasks assigned by reporting supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Development or equivalent job experience
  • Familiar with medical terminology/processes/structure is an asset
  • Excellent Communication skills 
  • Excellent English spoken and written skills
  • Bilingual is an asset, but not necessary
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Experience with B2B sales
  • Experience with Distributors
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office, word, Excel, Outlook
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to build rapport with clients

Salary: $42,000/year plus quarterly commissions

 

 

Junior Marketing Assistant

The Surgmed Group of Companies is currently searching for a Junior Marketing coordinator to compliment and support the Sales and Marketing division. We are looking for an individual who is innovative, ready to bring new ideas and ready to improve existing strategies. Reports to: Vice President of Marketing & Sales

Responsibilities:

  • Trade Show participation - occasional outstation travel required within Canada
  • Conduct market research to determine potential of products and services
  • Perform analysis of market strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
  • Develop and implement innovative marketing campaigns
  • Graphic Design, brochure, and flyer development
  • Product video Development
  • Web site maintenance
  • Catalogue maintenance
  • Customer Surveys, Tracking and follow-ups
  • Support the Sales teams
  • Translations, English to French
  • Social Media Initiatives
  • Translate complex data into simple graphs and text
  • Compile and present data for other departments

Qualifications:

  • In pursuit or completed a Bachelors Degree in public relations, communications or business administration
  • Previous experience in market research or other related fields (+2yrs)
  • Previous experience with Trade shows
  • exposure to CRM tools, E marketing tools
  • Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative data collection
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both English and French
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • Time management, organizational skills

Salary Range: $35,000 - $38,000

Regulatory Assistant 

The Surgmed Group of Companies is currently searching for a Regulatory Assistant to report to our Vice President and Quality Coordinator. We are looking for an individual with a passion for research and a keen eye for detail. This is an administrative role that will vary from day to day- aiding in audit evaluations, detailing forms and organizing the workload of the supervisor, If you are a motivated individual looking to learn and grow with a company, we are looking forward to meeting with you.
 
Responsibilities:
 
• Assists the Vice President and Quality Coordinator with the following duties:
• Prepare documents required for regulatory/quality files
• Audit Preparation
• Administrative duties (Prepare word and excel documents.) for all Technical file, Quality Manual and production requests.
• Review and Coordinate General email account inquiries
• Aids in analyzing customer quality/regulatory questionnaires
• Other general office duties
 
Qualifications: 
 
• Fluent: English, written and spoken
• Basic: French comprehensive an asset
• Detail oriented and skilled to work independently and as a team
• Proficient in using various types of computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
• Strong organization skills
• Ability to multitask
• Comfortable with Medical Terminology
• Research driven
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills grammar and composition
• Demonstrate initiative and good judgment
• Have a positive attitude, disciplined work ethic and a keen desire to learn
• Must own a vehicle
• Strong typing skills
• 2 year working experience in a similar role or equivalent
• Time Management
 
Job Type: Permanent, Full time
 
Salary Range: $30,000 - $35,000
