What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Actively prospect, qualify and follow up on leads to acquire business from new customers and existing accounts within assigned territory, with extensive daily travel.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual targets for each product group.
  • Monitor competitive activity and report results.
  • Effectively represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Provide valuable feedback on product opportunities and issues.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports and present customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with customer service and marketing departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay at the cutting edge of medical sales, bringing fresh ideas to the table while ensuring you are always ahead of industry trends.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • 1-2 years of experience as a business-to-business field sales representative with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding goals.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Ontario territory; To effectively service the territory, candidates should be located within the Greater Toronto Area — no further west than Hamilton, no further east than Oshawa/Ajax, and no further north than Barrie
  • Ability to extensive territory travel, both daily and occasional overnight.
  • Territory parameters : note that the area to efficiently service includes as far north as Barrie, east to Oshawa, and west to Hamilton.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a car.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Experience in medical sales is a bonus, but an eager to learn and grow is more important.
  • Experience using CRM tools.
