In this dynamic role, you will play an important part in ensuring materials are properly inspected, tracked, and ready for production while supporting equipment maintenance, inventory accuracy, and daily manufacturing operations.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Perform inspections of incoming raw materials according to the established specifications, procedures, and quality requirements.
  • Document required incoming inspection criteria.
  • Track and trace raw materials on the production floor, verifying item numbers, lot numbers, quantities, and material identification before materials are used in production.
  • Ensure raw material movements are accurately recorded in the system.
  • Maintain proper traceability of raw materials throughout the production process.
  • Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, process adjustments, and basic preventive maintenance
  • Perform and document routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
  • Support production with material transfers and inventory-related activities as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment – surfaces, equipment, and shelves stocked properly.
  • First Aid certified, CNESST approved; act as first responder in emergencies.
  • Provide general support on the production floor as needed and provide leadership coverage for Supervisors and Assistants during absences.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • 2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • 1+ year of warehouse or materials-handling experience.
  • Ability to communicate in French or English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of production regulations, quality standards, and workplace safety.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A team player who is comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
  • Valid First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it, as required.
