 Job description:

Batrik Medical Manufacturing Inc., part of The Surgmed™ Group of Companies, specializes in the manufacturing of endoscopy accessories, enzymatic solutions, infection control, and surgical devices. Our production facility is HEPA filtered clean and controlled manufacturing environment.

As a Production Team Lead at Surgmed, you will manufacture and assemble products into finished goods in a newly built production facility.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Operate production equipment.
  • Adhere to daily production Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain a clean work environment—surfaces and shelves clean and stocked properly.
  • Basic understanding of Shipping Responsibilities.
  • Responsible for flow of materials, including inspection of the production area.
  • Quality control of in-process and finished goods.
  • Monitor the proper cleaner room and production floor protocols are followed when entering or exiting.
  • Train & Mentor new/existing employees on best practices.
  • Monitor team performance, train, and communicate observations & concerns to the supervisor.
  • Provide constructive feedback to production employees for work efficiency.
  • Monitor complete operation in the absence of the production supervisor.
  • Communicate regularly with the supervisor about staffing needs & performance.
  • Offer general support to the Production Supervisor when needed.
  • Building and maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Able to communicate in French or English
  • 2 years of experience in production environment
  • Demonstrates leadership skills
  • Understands and Follows Production Regulations
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures, and complete tasks in a timely manner

Special requirements:

The controlled medical manufacturing environment requires:

  • Wearing hairnets, beard nets and shoe covers (all provided)
  • Free of makeup, nail polish and perfumes

Training Requirement:

The Team Lead must be available to train during day or evening shifts for approximately 2–3 weeks before transitioning to nights .

Shift Schedule:

  • Monday–Thursday: 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM
  • 30-minute Super break
  • Two x15-minute breaks
  • Friday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • 30-minute Super break
  • One x15-minute breaks
