Are you detail-oriented, dependable, and take pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment? We are looking for a Custodian to join our team and help ensure our facility remains clean, hygienic, safe, and welcoming.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, cafeteria, production areas, and common spaces.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
  • Empty garbage and recycling bins.
  • Clean glass doors, interior and exterior windows, and building entrances.
  • Maintain cafeteria cleanliness, including the microwave, refrigerator, counters, sink, and dishwasher.
  • Maintain the coat closet and assist with laundry, including lab coats.
  • Clean production floors, workstations, and controlled-environment rooms.
  • Clean the EZ machine after production.
  • Perform light exterior maintenance, such as sweeping sidewalks and clearing debris.
  • Monitor and report maintenance or safety issues and assist with minor repairs when required.
  • Ensure cleaning supplies are adequately stocked and properly stored.
  • Follow all applicable health, safety, and hygiene procedures.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Working knowledge of French or English, both written and spoken.
  • Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and the proper use of cleaning equipment and products.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
  • Physically able to lift up to 25 kg (55 lb), stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Dependable, responsible, and able to manage tasks efficiently.
